All students in elementary and middle school grades are required to wear the school uniform each day of school. Students not in conformity with the uniform policy will be sent to the office. Parents will be called and asked to bring in the appropriate clothing.

All students are to wear plain school uniform:

 

Bottom: Boys and girls should wear Kaki, beige, or brown pants. Girls can also wear a beige jumper or skirt.

 

Shirts and blouses (tops): The official school shirt is available in long or short sleeves, or a turtle neck for colder weather. All tops must be plain.

 

• Kindergarten through 5th grades: Dark green shirts, kurta tunics.

• 6th through 8th grades: Burgundy shirts, blouses, kurta tunics.

• Sweaters or vests: Kaki, dark green, or black.

 

 

 

 

Other items for girls:

 

• Girls wearing hijabs: Plain white, beige, off-white, or plain green, plain brown hijabs are acceptable.

• Skirts, pants, dresses, or jumpers for girls: The official school uniform is available in beige or brown. (Black, white, or dark green shorts, leggings, or burgundy are acceptable for 6th-8th graders.) These items should be worn under the skirt, dress, or jumper and must be white, black, or dark green.

• Kurta or tunic (tops): The official uniform is dark green for KG-5th grade and burgundy for 6th-8th grade.

• Abaya: The AlRazi School uniform allows for an abaya. It must be plain and available in dark green or Kaki colors only. Sweatpants or leggings must be worn underneath the abaya to allow participation in physical activities.

• Stockings, pants, or leggings under the skirt or jumper: White, black, or dark green must be plain.

Occasionally, students will be allowed to attend school without uniform. This will be announced. Students who are not in compliance with this policy will receive one warning; if the student is not in compliance on a 2nd occasion, the color day free dress option will be rescinded for the remainder of the semester.
